In a new construction our Naval Architects and Engineers liaise with the customers’ technical staff during the design stage to ensure that the optimum solution is selected. When retrofitting equipment in existing vessels we can analyse trials data and offer solutions to correct performance deficiencies.

Generally our choice for shafting is the material known as Hydromet 680 which was developed by our own metallurgists to provide the highest possible strength and corrosion resistance characteristics. Hydromet 680 is a very high quality Duplex Stainless Steel ideal for high performance shafting applications. It is the ideal choice for fast naval patrol vessels and luxury yacht applications.

A full range of couplings and thrust blocks are available to suit any application. These are either to our own design and manufacture or we are happy to supply other makes.

Complete shaft and propeller packages are pre-fitted at our factory to ensure trouble free installation. On break down each item is numbered and the package is delivered to the customer complete with an instruction manual.
