The company is able to draw on a full range of specialists
who are all employed within the Bruntons Group. Not just naval architects
and designers but also metallurgists and the highly experienced
craftsmen who actually build the propellers and sterngear.
As yachts and commercial craft become more advanced
in both design, and the materials from which they are constructed,
it is not surprising that the likelihood of being able to get a
propeller ‘off the shelf’ is proving more and more difficult.
By working with clients naval architects early on in a vessels design
stage, we are able to develop exactly the right propeller and sterngear
for any craft.
Apart from new constructions we are increasingly
being asked to correct problems on vessels which have been launched
and whose original equipment has not been able to produce the performance
or low noise and vibration standards set for them.
